NYX Round Lipglosses

I have recently discovered the American brand NYX and I'm so happy I have! They produce quality products at very affordable prices. NYX is not particularly easy to get ahold of here in the UK but I have heard that flagship River Island stores have started to carry a line- YAY! Failing that it's readily available online. I have purchased everything I own from Cherryculture.com which is an excellent website, I have always received my orders within a week and considering they come from America, it's brilliant! check them out!
So... Onto my review, I am going to be talking about the round lipglosses, these retail at around £1.50 apiece, bargainous! I have 5 colours and I adore them, I can safely say they are my favourite brand of lipgloss and I have definitely tested enough brands to come to that conclusion! They are very thin and moisturising, no stickiness at all which I hate in a gloss, obviously having a thin texture means they need to be reapplied more frequently but I would choose this every time over a gloopy, thick gloss- yuck!
You get 2.5ml of product which is probably more than your average for a fraction of the price. The glosses are lightly fragranced with a lemon scent, some people hate this I know, but I like it, either way, the smell fades within about 10 minutes anyway.
Here are the shades I own:

SORBET:
Sorbet is a beautiful light pink with multi-coloured sparkes. It's beautifully opaque and reminds of a glittery version of NARS Turkish delight. This gloss looks equally good worn alone or paired with a light pink/nude lipstick.

DOLL PINK:
A perfect blue toned barbie pink with very fine blue shimmers. Extremely pigmented- one coat gives full coverage. I pair this with a subtle, neutral eye when I want my lips to be the focus. Love love LOVE.

MAUVE:
My least favourite of all that I own, however this is just down to personal preference. The only "matte" colour of the lot, contains no sparkle/shimmer. It's a warm dark pinky/mauve. Again, very opaque, I think this colour would look best on a darker complexion than my own.

WHIPPED:
I adore this shade, this is my joint favourite alongside baby pink.
It's the perfect nude shade and contains gorgeous coloured fine glitters which catch the light beautifully. I wear this over nude lipsticks which I consider "too chalky" to wear alone- such as MAC Fleshpot & ELF natural nymph. If you're a fan of a nude lip this one is for you.

BABY PINK:
I have been searching for a colour like this for years. I'm not usually a fan of a frosty lip but this is just beautiful. Containing rainbow glitters it warms the shade up which contrasts perfectly with the frostiness. I wear this alone as it needs no help to shine!

If you haven't tried any NYX round glosses then why not!? I am definitely going to be purchasing many more of these, I have my eye especially on ballerina pink, natural and pinky natural.
What are your favourite NYX products? And what do you look for in the perfect lipgloss?
Jennifer xx
